Students and applicants count days all the time — days left for an exam, days between a notification date and the last date to apply, or the date that falls exactly 45 days from today. This free calculator does both: count the days between any two dates, or add days to a date to find the final date. It runs in your browser.
Part 1 — Days between two dates
Part 2 — Add days to a date
Common uses
- Days remaining for an exam from today
- Last date = notification date + the days allowed in the notification
- Document/certificate validity checks (many certificates must be issued within a set number of days)
- Counting days for age-related cut-offs — see our Age Calculator
Frequently asked questions
Does it count both the start and end date?
It counts the difference — the number of midnights between the two dates. If your rule says “within 30 days including both days”, add 1 to the result.
Can I find a date 90 days from today?
Yes — use the second part of the tool. Enter today’s date as the start date and 90 as the number of days to add.
Is there any sign-up?
No. This calculator is completely free and needs no sign-up — just open the page and use it.
